    Colt’s History

    Harrow St Mary’s Colts Academy

    How we started

Started by Stuart Aitken and Sushil Sharma in the early 90s , by recruiting boys interested in cricket from local state schools. On the first night over 80 boys turned up and the two coaches, lacking anything like enough equipment, resorted to the basics of catching and fielding. Now we are one of the most professional Colts organisations in Middlesex supporting all age groups up to U17s. We have fully qualified coaches at all levels.

    The Jack Petchey Awards

We are very grateful to The Jack Petchey Foundation for supporting the Club since 2006. The Foundation wants young people to get involved in their club and feel that they can contribute to it. The Colts players vote for someone who they think has contributed to the club in the month. They don’t have to be the best cricketer; it may just be that they have improved at their own level or helped another member or given time to the club and others. The winner is invited to attend a ceremony with other.
