Incoming batsman Charanvir Gill then scored 29 in 5 balls (4x6 and1x5) to finish 29no. Sid Menon was run out for 7 and HSM finished on 148/2 in their 12 overs.
In reply, Gill took a wicket in his first and only over (1-6), and then the remaining wickets were shared by Menon, Hussain and Shah. Although wicketless Samay Shah returned good figures of (3-0-0-10). OMT’s topscorer was Jonathan 33no and they finished on 98/5
U13A v Lohana (HSM won by 79 runs)
A change in the batting order saw Hussain open with Angus Prevost and both retired not out (Hussain 33, Prevost 32.) Gill then surpassed his previous innings and retired having hit only 5 balls, all sixes. This gave him figures for the day of 59no (9x6’s and 1x5) and HSM ended on 163/1 Andrew Thomas also retired 30no.
Lohana’s no. 2 Bhavik (31no) and no. 4 Alex (15) were the only Lohana batsmen to contribute to the score and they finished on 84/5 , added by HSM’s wayward bowlers and dropping of 4 catches.
