Summer 2008
Harrow St Mary's Cricket Club held their Presentation Evening and Dinner & Dance in Ruislip on Saturday evening with 130 members & parents attending. Guest of honour was the former England and Middlesex seamer and newly appointed Managing Director of Cricket at Middlesex, Angus Fraser. The former cricket writer for the Independent, before taking up his new role, Fraser, 43, was a pupil at Gayton High School (now Harrow High) and also spends time coaching his son's age group at the independent The John Lyon School on Harrow on the Hill.
Fraser presented the individual awards at another highly successful presentation evening which showcased the huge talent that the Colts section in particular harbours. Having made the presentations, Fraser then enthralled the packed audience with tales of his time as a professional cricketer, journalist and his hopes and ambitions for his new role at Middlesex. He also promised to take a coaching session with the Colts.
