Harrow Saint Mary's Cricket Club

Harrow St Mary's Colts held their end of season presentation at Quainton Hall School, with Middlesex and England star Owais Shah as the guest speaker. The link with Quainton Hall is very apt as there has been many connections between HSM and QHS over the years, with the Hindes Road independent school providing HSM with a number of players over the years, including a dozen county standard players over the last decade and an England U17 star in Ravi Patel, and the school using the cricket club's facilities for school matches. The link is set to continue at Saints new ground at Old Millhillians. Had the presentation evening been a school report it would be graded B+.

A season that was close to being the greatest in the colts history petered out into one of "what ifs".The highlights of the season were the U17s winning the Middlesex Cup for the very first time, the U11s providing five players for the Middlesex v Hertfordshire match in May and appearing at Lord's during the Ashes Test as reward for winning the Barmy Army tournament. The biggestdisappointment being the much heralded U11s reaching three county finals but failing to win any of them.
